Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . 24-year-old Kyrgyzstani Raziya Mansurova represents the country at the 49th edition of Miss InterContinental 2021 international beauty contest, which is one of the top 5 most prestigious pageants in the world.
The contest is taking place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt on Oct. 14-30, organizers said.
"On Oct. 29, the finals of Miss InterContinental competition and the awarding of the main winner's crown will take place. But before that, all delegates will undergo a preliminary interview in English," the directorate of the National Miss Kyrgyzstan Contest told.
To date, all of the contestants have taken part in a photo shoot in national costumes, swimsuits and cocktail dresses.
The management of the Miss Kyrgyzstan National Contest has approved the participation of Raziya Mansurova in this contest based on the results of the casting.
The winner will receive the Oriental Holy Water crown with 720 diamonds and a cash prize of $50,000.
Miss Intercontinental is an international pageant held by the World Beauty Organization since 1971. Its main feature is that contestants are selected on a continental basis.
In 2016, Kyrgyzstan was represented by Begimai Karybekova, but according to the results Kyrgyzstan was not included in the top 5 of the Miss Intercontinental-2016.
