255 parties officially registered in Kyrgyzstan with 14 formed last year

Bishkek, Jan.30, 2020. /Kabar/. There are 255 officially registered political parties in Kyrgyzstan’s Justice Ministry, Head of the ministry’s Legal Entities and Lien Registration Department Emir Zulpuyev told reporters.

He noted 14 new parties have been registered in 2019, and since the beginning of this year, Nur-Dai new party is also included in political party's list.

Zulpuyev added according to the procedure, the registration of non-profit organizations, including political parties, is one month.

Besides, according to the Justice Ministry’s Legal Entities and Lien Registration Department head, over 3 thousand media registered in Kyrgyzstan.

Justice Minister Marat Dzhamankulov added the registration of media outlets was transmitted to territorial justice subdivisions.

"In other words, regional media do not need to come to the Justice Ministry's central office to register," he explained.
