25th Term War Journalism Training being held in Ankara

Ankara, July 5, 2024. /Kabar/. The 25th Term War Journalism Training continues in Ankara, the capital of Turkiye. Today, the fifth day of special training has ended.

The journalists were introduced to the work of the air force and navy and trained on rendering first aid to wounded citizens, how to work in emergency situations, cyber security, use of masks against various gasses, tear gas, water and crowd dispersal, making articles in refugee camps, criminals. During the attack, there were defensive tactics, photography basics, swimming techniques and rescue lessons.

About 25 mass media workers from countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Tajikistan, Kosovo, Georgia are participating in the war journalism training.

The event was organized in cooperation with Anadolu Agency, TİKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency), Turkish Police Academy.

The training will be held in Ankara from July 1 to July 12.

Previously, 533 journalists have received training and improved their experience.
