Bishkek, June 27, 2020. /Kabar/. Analysis was carried out among the Kyrgyz Government staff to determine the presence of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said Saturday.
"As a result, coronavirus infection was detected in 26 employees. Two days ago, 11 people were confirmed to have positive result, repeated analysis of COVID-19 showed virus presence in 15 other employees. One of PM's advisor Artem Novikov and an assistant to PM are also among those infected. Head of the Government's Office, Minister Taalaibek Temiraliyev is currently in isolation as contact person," the report says.
According to the algorithm of sanitary-epidemiological measures, all of them have been sent to home quarantine and are undergoing appropriate treatment. Most of them have asymptomatic disease. Persons who have been in contact with them have also been identified.
Most of the Government staff continue to work remotely.
Earlier it was reported that 17 employees of Kyrgyz President's Office and Head of President's Office Dosaly Esenaliyev contracted coronavirus.
Kyrgyzstan confirmed on Saturday 309 new cases, raising the total to 4,513.
Of these, 2,212 people have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Death toll stands at 46.
