Bishkek, Aug. 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, retail average prices for cement in this July amounted to KGS 357.6 per 50 kg, and increased by 26.3% compared to July last year, the National Statistics Committee of the republic said.
According to the report, prices for bricks amounted to KGS 7 thousand 872 per 1000 pieces, and growth made 21.3%.
The highest retail prices for cement were observed in Kara-Balta city – KGS 409.9 per 50 kg, while the lowest indicators were recorded in in Jalal-Abad and Uzgen towns – KGS 300 per 50 kg.
Retail prices for bricks exceeded the national average in the towns of Tokmok – KGS 13,228.8 per 1,000 pieces and Talas – KGS 12,000 per 1,000 pieces.
Minimum prices were recorded in the towns of Kara-Suu –KGS 2,978.1 per 1,000 pieces and Kerben town of Jalal-Abad Oblast – KGS 3,898.7 per 1,000 pieces.
The highest increase in prices for cement compared to the previous month was observed in Pokrovka village (Talas Oblast) - by 43.5%, Kara-Balta town of Chui Oblast - by 41.3% and Osh - by 38.7%, and for bricks in Isfana (Batken Oblast) - by 1.6 times, Kerben (Jalal-Abad Oblast) - by 44.5% and Kara-Balta - by 36.4%.
