26 schools and 76 classes in Kyrgyzstan switch to online learning

Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2022. / Kabar /. As of Jan. 18, out of 2,334 schools in Kyrgyzstan, 24 schools were transferred to online learning due to the epidemiological situation.

According to data of the Ministry of Education and Science, 16 of them are in Bishkek, 10 schools are in Chui Oblast.

In addition, 76 classes have been transferred to online learning, of which 55 classes are in Chui, 9 classes in Bishkek, 6 classes in Talas Oblast, 3 classes in Naryn Oblast, 2 classes in Osh Oblast, and 1 class in Issyk-Kul Oblast.

The rest of the educational organizations in Kyrgyzstan operate as usual.

Schools, kindergartens must operate in compliance with general safety and hygiene measures to ensure the safety and health of students, teachers and employees, the ministry said.
