Tashkent, June 30, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has climbed to 8,298, the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry said.
In the past day, 267 new cases were revealed throughout the country, 167 patients have recovered from COVID-19, 2 more deaths were registered.
Uzbekistan has extended quarantine until Aug.1, and restrictions and rules on quarantine measures are in force in all regions. Since June 1, a number of activities have been allowed, depending on quarantine levels - "red" (high), "yellow" (medium) and "green" (low).
Passengers coming from countries with poor sanitary and epidemiological situation were allowed to quarantine the hotel at their own expense. Private clinics were allowed to conduct coronavirus tests.
In Uzbekistan, 5,496 people have recovered from the coronavirus and 24 patients have died.
There are 2,778 patients undergoing treatment. Of these, 19 patients' condition assessed as serious, six of them are in extremely serious condition.
