26yo Kyrgyzstani dies in accident in Russia

Bishkek, Feb.28, 2020. /Kabar/. A driver from Kyrgyzstan caused a car accident in Chuvashia because he was talking on the phone, the press service of the Chuvashia General Administration for Traffic Safety of the Russian Internal Ministry said.

The accident occurred on Feb. 26 at about 11 p.m. on the 605th kilometer of the M-7 Moscow-Ufa highway in Morgaushsky District.

According to the Chuvashia Interior Ministry, a 26-year-old native of Kyrgyzstan while driving a Hyundai Getz spoke on the phone and did not even notice how his car was on the opposite lane.

First, the foreign car was crushed by GAZ and then Chevrolet Lacetti.

As a result, the Hyundai driver died on the spot, two of his 18- and 20-year-old passengers were taken to hospital.

Later, a 24-year-old passenger of Lacetti also sought medical help.

According to the results of the examination, all drivers are sober.

An inspection is carried out in case of an accident.
