Bishkek, May 4, 2020 / Kabar /. In Kyrgyzstan, 20 law enforcement officers contracted COVID-19, head of public health department of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Ainura Akmatova told.
She said that half of them were in the infectious diseases hospital and were discharged.
“10 are being treated at the Republican Clinical and Infectious Diseases Hospital. Yesterday, 7 employees were hospitalized,” she said.
To date, the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan has reached 830, including 216 medical workers. A total of 575 people have recovered and ten have died.
