3,242 economic entities fined in Kyrgyzstan since coronavirus epidemic

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in Kyrgyzstan, 3,242 economic entities have been fined for non-compliance with sanitary and quarantine standards, director of disease prevention and state sanitary and epidemiological supervision Abdykadyr Zhoroev told at a briefing.

He said that the fines were issued in the amount of KGS 5 million 787 thousand.

“In addition, 23,573 objects were checked during this period. These are different areas of economic activity, food, utilities, transport, etc. 3,365 protocols have been drawn up on sanitary violations, 13,192 orders have been issued, and 925 warning orders have been issued,” he said.

Zhoroev added that 220 cases are sent to the judiciary and 57 to law enforcement bodies.
