Bishkek, May 7, 2020. /Kabar/. Three citizens who came from Bishkek to At-Bashy region for their mother's funeral are diagnosed with COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Head of the state administration of Naryn Oblast’s At-Bashy region Nurbek Satarov said at a news briefing.
According to him, they came to the funeral of their mother in Naryn and their coronavirus tests showed positive results. These citizens have been placed under observation.
"Epidemiological analysis have been taken, work on the causes of the disease, determination of the hearth and contact persons are being carried out. Six people of the first category contacts (closest relatives) had tests negative," Satarov said.
As he noted, until yesterday only 6 patients were treated in the region. Now the number has reached 9 people.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Naryn Oblast is 115, 83 of them have recovered.
Kyrgyzstan has reported 24 new cases of coronavirus infection on Thursday, bringing the total to 895, including 224 cases among medical workers.
637 COVID-19 patients have cured and discharged from hospitals, 12 have passed away.
