Bishkek, Feb. 14, 2022. / Kabar /. Three workers of a contracting company, who were cleaning the road section from snow on machines remained under a snow avalanche, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan said.
According to preliminary information, at about 13:20, an avalanche descended on 332 km of the North-South highway (Kazarman-Jalal-Abad section) Phase 1, in front of the northern portal of the tunnel under construction.
Currently, searches are underway for 3 people, two of them are citizens of China and one citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic. All three are employees of the Contracting Company, the report said.
