Bishkek, Feb. 22, 2022 . / Kabar / . The implementation of 30 major investment projects is envisaged within the framework of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Batken Oblast Development Program, Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev said during a retreat of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The minister noted that in particular, investment projects will be implemented in the field of industry, energy, agro-industrial sector, infrastructure projects, the press service of the Economy Ministry said Tuesday.
"At present, the Investment and Development Agency has prepared 10 investment projects to be offered to investors and subsequent implementation.
Work on resumption of production at Khaidarkan Mercury Plant and Kadamjay Antimony Plant continues. These are large industrial objects, which can make a great contribution to development of the oblast and increase employment of population," Amangeldiev added.
He also called for active work of representatives of local authorities. It is noted that active participation of financial institutions is necessary for implementation of investment projects.
