315 schools, 69 kindergartens, 28 healthcare facilities built in Kyrgyzstan within three years

Bishkek, April 4, 2024 / Kabar/. “The volume of construction has increased sharply over three years. In particular, we took up the construction of social facilities,” Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov told today, speaking at the Jogorku Kenesh.

He announced that within three years, 315 schools, 69 kindergartens, and 28 healthcare facilities had been built. The problem of clean water in 125 villages has been solved.

“By the end of 2023, the construction of 140 educational facilities has been completed. In addition, 417 residential buildings and 23 social facilities have been commissioned in the Batken region. Over three years, 113 facilities were built in the Osh region, including 73 schools and kindergartens. 66 facilities (38 schools) were built in the Jalal-Abad region, and 67 social facilities in the Batken region. This year we will focus on the Chui region. Last year, only 15 schools were built in the most populous Chui region,” the head of the Cabinet said.
