Bishkek, May 9, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan registered on Sunday 321 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 98,400, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.
The new cases included 221 in the capital city of Bishkek, 54 in Chui Oblast, 20 in Issyk-Kul Oblast and the rest are in other regions.
The headquarters reported 292 new recoveries and 6 virus related deaths over the past day, taking the total recoveries to 91,559 and the death toll to 1,655.
Meanwhile, 1,653 people are hospitalized across the country and 2,514 patients are receiving treatment at home.
The country conducted 4,059 COVID-19 medical tests during the last 24 hours.
