325 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 23, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Sunday 325 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 102,511 the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.

The new cases included 262 in the capital city of Bishkek, 19 in Chui Oblast, 18 in Issyk-Kul Oblast and the rest are in other regions.

The headquarters reported 365 new recoveries and 8 virus related deaths over the past day, taking the total recoveries to 95,811 and the death toll to 1,751.

Meanwhile, 1,555 people are hospitalized across the country and 2,369 patients are receiving treatment at home.

The country conducted 4,182 COVID-19 medical tests during the last 24 hours.

Kyrgyzstan started mass vaccination for COVID-19 on March 29. 70,000 people were vaccinated so far.
