344 more Kyrgyz citizens returned from Russian cities over COVID-19 pandemic

Bishkek, July 25, 2020. /Kabar/. A plane of Avia Traffic Company on the Moscow-Osh route has arrived July 25 in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, 160 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, including young children, have been returned to the homeland on this flight.

It was performed as part of implementation of agreements, reached by the Kyrgyz, Russian Foreign Ministries in accordance with the instruction of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the ongoing work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens, located in foreign countries because of temporary closure of borders and the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the world.

In particular, women who are late in pregnancy and have young children, as well as citizens who have serious reasons for urgent return to their homeland, such as severe illness and recently undergoing surgery, loss of family and friends and other difficult life situations.

Another plane with compatriots on board has landed in south of Kyrgyzstan.

184 Kyrgyzstanis, including young children have been returned to the homeland on the flight of the S7 airline on the Novosibirsk-Osh route.

Kyrgyz citizens from Irkutsk, Sakhalin, Tomsk Regions and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) also arrived in Kyrgyzstan.

This flight brought humanitarian cargo to the republic in the form of medicines worth more than RUB 500 thousand, formed by the Kyrgyz diaspora of Novosibirsk Region.

The work on the return of Kyrgyz citizens who are in foreign countries and wish to return to their homeland continues.
