Bishkek, March 27, 2020./Kabar/.36 roadblocks have been deployed in the southern region, where servicemen of the Ground Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic pull round-the-clock duty, the press service of Kyrgyzstan's General Staff reported.
Each checkpoint is equipped with necessary equipment and conditions for rest of the personnel.
"All entrants are checked with identity documents, body temperature is measured and, if necessary, vehicles are sanitized with disinfectant solution," the report says.
From March 25 to April 15, a state of emergency is in force in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast and in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.
Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
To date, 44 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Kyrgyzstan, 6 people in serious condition are in intensive care, 10 of them have a medium severity condition, the rest - satisfactory.
