366,560 doses of coronavirus vaccine administered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . In the last 24 hours, another 13,682 Kyrgyzstanis received their shot of coronavirus vaccine, and 1,874 people were vaccinated with the second dose.

According to the latest data from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, a total of 366,559 doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered across Kyrgyzstan since the start of the vaccination campaign, and 109,673 of them have received the second dose.

In Kyrgyzstan, the national vaccination campaign began at the end of March 2021.

The country purchased 1.1 million doses of the Chinese vaccine Sinopharm at the expense of the budget. Earlier, Chinese authorities donated a total of 300 thousand doses of the vaccine to Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, a batch of 120,000 doses of the vaccine was purchased from Russia, and 10,000 doses were donated.

An additional batch of Sinopharm vaccine in the amount of 1,250,000 doses will be purchased in the near future.
