3755 people are in home quarantine, 917 people under observation in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 5, 2020 / Kabar /. The number of contact persons with laboratory-confirmed patients with COVID-19 is 3755 people, Deputy Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Nurbolot Usenbaev told Tuesday a news briefing.

He said that they are all under home quarantine, where doctors observe them. “Now doctors are taking tests from them. When a person who is in quarantine has two negative tests at home, they will be lifted from quarantine. Also, 917 people are under observation in Kyrgyzstan,” said Usenbaev.

To date, the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan has reached 843, including 217 medical workers. A total 600 people have recovered and 11 have died.
