Bishkek, Apr. 30, 2020 / Kabar /. 381 couples got married, 99 divorced in Kyrgyzstan during the state of emergency, that is, during the period of March 25 – April 30.
In the first quarter of 2020, there is a decrease in the number of registered marriages - 10 thousand 144.
According to data of the State Registration Service, for the same period last year, 12 thousand 78 pairs were registered.
The greatest number is noted in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Chui regions. During the state of emergency, 381 couples officially formalized relations in the country.
The number of divorces also decreased by 172 and amounted to 2 thousand 496, (2 thousand 668 in 2019). Most divorces are registered in the city of Bishkek and Osh region. During the quarantine regime, 99 couples have already registered divorce.
The state of emergency has been imposed on the territory of the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Jalal-Abad and Naryn, as well as Nookat, Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast, Suzak region of Jalal-Abad Oblast and in At-Bashi region of Naryn oblast of Kyrgyzstan from March 25 till April 15, later it was extended till April 30.
Meanwhile, the state of emergency is extended in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Jalal-Abad and At-Bashi region of Naryn oblast until May 10, 2020 inclusive.
