In 2019, 39 schools, 2 kindergartens, 6 health facilities and 4 cultural facilities were fully built and commissioned in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Director of Housing and Civil Construction Department of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan Jumabai Karimzhanov said at the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to him, last year construction work was carried out in 139 schools, 29 kindergartens, 9 health care facilities, 8 cultural facilities, 16 sports complexes and 20 other facilities.
Besides, major repairs was carried out at 36 sites, 23 sites were provided with clean drinking water.
"A total of KGS 2 billion 274 million was spent on capital investments in 2019, and another KGS 285 million from the anti-corruption deposit account," he said.
Karimzhanov added this year, it is planned to continue capital investments in 42 general education institutions in the republic.
"Stable funding is expected for the development of General Plans of settlements for 55 border settlements with special status, as well as for 14 settlements that were not funded in 2019," he said.
Jumabai Karimzhanov noted that in 2020 it is planned to digitize the issuance of permits for the design, construction and other changes in real estate and ensure the order of acceptance of the completed construction facilities, with subsequent accession to the Tunduk system of interdepartmental interaction.
