4-magnitude quake hits south of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2020. /Kabar/. A 4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Osh Oblast of Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday at 10:10 a.m.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the country’s National Academy of Sciences, 3-3.5-magnitude tremors were felt in villages of Alai region of the oblast.

No casualties or destruction were reported.

According to the Richter scale, a 4-magnitude quake is considered light.
