Bishkek, May 11, 2021. / Kabar /. 4 types of influenza will circulate in Kyrgyzstan in the epidemiological season 2020-2021, the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of Kyrgyzstan reported with reference to WHO.
Thus, the following types of flu will circulate:
- A / Hong Kong / 45/2019 (H3N2),
- A / Hawaii / 70/2019 (H1N1) pdm09,
- B / Phuket / 3073/2013 (Yamagata Line) or
- B / Washington / 02/2019 (line B / Victoria).
It is noted that they are included in the composition of influenza vaccines.
According to operational data, on week 18 (i.e. 05/03/21 to 05/09/21) compared to the last week (week 17, i.e. from 04/26/21 to 05/02/21) there is a decrease (by 21%) in the incidence acute respiratory viral infections, 2995 cases were registered against 3796 cases.
And compared to the same week in 2020, the incidence is 9.5 times higher (18 week of 2020 - 304 cases were registered, i.p. per 100 thousand population was 4.8).
