Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2024. /Kabar/. To date, 415 legal entities of large and medium-sized enterprises on production of food products, beverages and tobacco products are registered in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Of them: 7 in Batken Oblast, 38 in Jalal-Abad oOlast, 28 in Osh Oblast, 25 in Issyk-Kul Oblast, 11 in Naryn Oblast, 4 in Talas Oblast, 136 in Chui Oblast, 146 in Bishkek and 20 in Osh city.
In addition, 10,813 individual entrepreneurs are registered for the production of food products, including beverages and tobacco products.
In the reporting period, the share of food industry enterprises, including beverages and tobacco products, in the total output of the processing industry of the republic amounted to 19.9%.
According to preliminary estimates, for the period January-November 2024, industrial enterprises processing agricultural products produced food, beverages and tobacco products in the amount of KGS 53139.2 million in current prices, physical volume index - 120.1%.
