Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . This year, 42 road accidents were recorded in Issyk-Kul Oblast of Kyrgyzstan, killing 13 people, the press service of the oblast Internal Affairs of Department said Wednesday.
According to statistics, the wrong choice of speed limit is a common cause of accidents.
Thus, in the first 11 months of 2021 there were 42 traffic accidents due to non-compliance with speed limits, which amounted to 9.6% of the total number of traffic accidents.
Thirteen people were killed, accounting for 10.6% of the total number of fatalities. 39 citizens were injured of varying severity. 9 thousand 249 protocols were drawn up for violation of speed limits and fines totaling KGS 10 million 117 thousand 500 were imposed.
