Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan’s total number of recoveries from COVID-19 coronavirus infection has amounted to 163,249 after 469 more Kyrgyzstanis were reported to have cured from the respiratory disease in the past day.
The Kyrgyz health authorities reported 237 new coronavirus cases, taking the nationwide count of infections to 172,327 on Monday.
In addition, 5 new deaths related to COVID-19 were recorded, bringing the death toll to 2,451.
Currently, 2,101 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 3,112 patients - at home.
Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29. In total, 586,578 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the country.
