Another 48 recoveries from novel coronavirus registered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 5, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 48 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals in the past day, Chief Sanitary Doctor, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Nurbolot Usenbayev said during a news briefing.

He added that repeated tests of all COVID-19 patients discharged showed negative results.

"A total of 1,340 patients across the country have cured of COVID-19, and they've all been sent home," Usenbayev noted.

Kyrgyzstan announced on Friday the registration of 37 new COVID - 19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 1936.

Deputy Health Minister Usenbayev also reported two new virus-related deaths, raising the nationwide death toll to 22.
