Tashkent, July 16, 2020. /Kabar/. As of July 16, Uzbekistan’s total number of COVID-19 cases has climbed to 14,787.
According to the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry, 494 new cases were revealed in the republic over the past 24 hours, 328 patients have recovered, 4 people have passed away.
Additional quarantine restrictions were introduced in Uzbekistan from July 13 to Aug.1. In particular, hairdressing and beauty salons have been suspended. People over 65 years of age are recommended to observe the regime of self-isolation.
President Mirziyoyev reprimanded on the eve Tashkent mayor and minster of health for improper organization of work to prevent the spread of coronavirus and treatment of patients.
In Uzbekistan, ,8655 people have cured from the coronavirus and 72 have died. A total of 6,060 patients are being treated.
Of these, 60 patients are in serious condition, condition of 7 of them assessed as extremely serious.
