Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Kyrgyz capital will host on Saturday the 4th Forum of Kyrgyz citizens "Kyrgyzstan 30+". More than 200 participants from all regions of the republic are expected to participate, organizers of the event said.
The 4th Forum of Kyrgyz citizens is aimed at open and free conversation on four topics covering problems of climate change, education, local governance and values of the society.
"Last time, the Forum was held in 2017. Since that time, both in the world and in our country, a lot of events have taken place that require active attention and discussion on the part of civil society. The Forum is a platform for the exchange of views and experiences on major issues of strategic development," the report says.
"We hope the Forum will launch a dialogue between citizens and the state, politicians, and parliament, and its results will be a further contribution to the process of developing civil society and strengthening civic solidarity," human rights activist Dinara Oshurakunova said.
