5 magnitude earthquake recorded on Kyrgyz-Chinese border

Bishkek, Apr. 8, 2020 / Kabar /. 5 magnitude earthquake registered on April 8, 2020 at 03:51 a.m. on the border of Kyrgyzstan and the People’s Republic of China.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the earthquake focus is located on the border of Kyrgyzstan and China, 19 km to the north-east of the village of Kek-Suu, 20 km to the north-west of the village Irkeshtam, 23 km to the north of the village Ikizyak, 26 km north of the village Nura, 120 km southeast of Osh.

In the settlements of the Kyrgyz Republic, the intensity of the earthquake in the villages was – 3-4.
