Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2023 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz athletes and runners will take part in the Yangi Nafas (New Breath) race in 16 cities of Uzbekistan, the domestic Athletics Federation reported.
The sporting event will take place on November 19 and is timed to coincide with the Day of Adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Kyrgyzstan will be represented by a team of 50 participants. It consists of runners, young athletes and athletes of various levels from Osh, Karakol, Chui region and Bishkek.
The uniform distance in all cities is 3 kilometers, in Tashkent - 3 and 10 kilometers.
At the initiative of the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan, in 2023 the Yangi Nafas race acquired international status, and athletes from running clubs from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan were invited to participate in the sporting event.
The Yangi Nafas race is held according to the current rules of the international association of athletics federations World Athletics.
