50 new gas-powered buses from China to be delivered to Bishkek

Bishkek, Aug. 11, 2023 / Kabar /. 50 new gas-powered buses of the Zhong Tong Bus company are going to Bishkek from China, the press service of the Kyrgyz capital’s mayor's office said.

This is the first batch of transport. By the end of the year, 450 buses will arrive in the city according to an agreed schedule with Zhongtong Bus. Another 500 units will arrive in the 1st quarter of 2024.

Earlier a contract was signed for the supply of 1000 units of passenger buses on a gas engine brand ZHONGTONG BUS HOLDING CO., LTD model LCK6105.

This project is being implemented with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic with the People's Republic of China and Zhong Tong Bus in order to upgrade and improve the transport system of Bishkek.
