Bishkek, Nov. 9, 2021 / Kabar /. Within the framework of bilateral and mutually beneficial cooperation, 500 thousand doses of CoronaVac vaccine produced by China’s Sinovac Research & Development Co.Ltd. were delivered to Tajikistan, Khovar News Agency reported with reference to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan.
The handing over ceremony at the Dushanbe International Airport was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan.
The delivered vaccines will be stored in special warehouses of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan and are used for the population in accordance with the national plan.
More than 2.6 million people are vaccinated in Tajikistan so far.
