Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2021. /Kabar/. 504,000 COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine AstraZeneca will be delivered to Kyrgyzstan in March, Acting Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev said Tuesday at a meeting of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial and Legal Issues and the Rules of Procedure of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He said Kyrgyzstan rejected the Pfizer vaccine.
Earlier, the Health Ministry of the republic reported documents were received on Pfizer coronavirus vaccine as part of the COVAX program .
Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said Kyrgyzstan has no conditions for its storage.
Usenbayev also did not exclude purchase of Russian-made vaccines.against novel coronavirus.
