Bishkek, May 28, 2024. /Kabar/. For 6 months of 2024, 52 cases of violence against children were registered in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy of Parliament Alisher Erbaev told at a meeting of the Committee on Law and Order, Combating Crime and Anti-Corruption of the Jogorku Kenesh.
According to him, of these, 34 cases are being investigated, 6 cases have been terminated, and 12 cases have been sent to court.
At the meeting of the committee, information from government bodies was heard on the work to prevent violent acts against minor children.
