Bishkek, Jan. 10, 2022. / Kabar /. 55% of the eligible population of Kyrgyzstan received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (1 million 243 thousand), the second dose - 48% (1 million 34 thousand), the country’s Health Minister of Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told on Birinchi radio.

He said that the revaccination with 3 doses is also being actively carried out.

“As of today, about 8 thousand people have already been vaccinated,” he added.

In addition, Beishenaliev indicated that the ministry has more than 5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in its reserve, which will last for 2-3 years.

The vaccination in Kyrgyzstan against COVID-19 is carried out with the following vaccines: Sinopharm, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Sputnik Light, Pfizer, QazVac and Moderna.
