587 doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered across Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, April 25, 2021. / Kabar /. 587 doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered across Kyrgyzstan as of Sunday.

Data released by the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 showed that the total number of COVID-19 vaccine jabs administered nationwide had reached 16,653.

389 of the total number have already received the second dose of the vaccine.

Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccination campaign on March 29 using China-donated vaccine after receiving 150 thousand doses of the Sinopharm vaccine from the Chinese manufacturer Beijing Institute of Biological Product Co. Ltd on March 19. The vaccination is carried out twice, with an interval of 25-28 days. No side effects have been reported after immunization with this vaccine.
