Bishkek, Dec. 2, 2021 . / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, 588 people were revaccinated against COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the E-Health Center of the Kyrgyz Ministry of said.
Of these, 481 are residents of Bishkek, 14 in Osh, 68 in Chui Oblast, 6 in Osh Oblast, 18 in Talas Oblast, 1 in Naryn Oblast, 12 in Issyk-Kul Oblast and 11 in Jalal-Abad Oblast.
In Kyrgyzstan, revaccination against coronavirus started on Nov. 17.
The additional (third) dose can be given to:
- persons with moderate and severe immunodeficiency;
- persons aged 60 and older who have previously received Sinopharm, Sinovac, and other inactivated vaccines;
- health care workers who have a very high risk of infection and transmission of coronavirus infection;
- individuals who have had COVID-19 (including previously vaccinated individuals).
An additional dose may be offered for the first 3 categories of citizens in a time frame no earlier than 6 months after receiving the initial vaccination series, for those who have recovered from COVID-19 at least 1 month after recovery.
It is possible to use inactivated vaccines against seasonal influenza, viral hepatitis B with COVID-19 vaccines with an interval of 7 days.
