59 thsd pupils in Kyrgyzstan to graduate from schools this year

Bishkek, May 14, 2020. /Kabar/. This year, about 59 thousand pupils in Kyrgyzstan will graduate from schools. Of these, 1,253 schoolchildren are applying for a honour certificate.

The number of ninth-graders is about 104 thousand people.

Due to the coronavirus, this year the format of state examinations in 9th and 11th grades has been changed. A specially created state commission will issue examination grades based on the general achievements of students.

In Kyrgyzstan, school year will end on May 30.

There are 2,283 schools in the republic attended by 1 million 311 thousand children.
