Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. According to current data, as of 8:00 a.m. Oct. 6 a total of 590 people have been admitted to the health care organizations through the ambulance and direct requests by patients themselves.
439 of them were sent for outpatient treatment after rendering primary medical aid, 150 victims with various injuries were hospitalized, 13 of them are in intensive care, 1 person died, the press service of the Health Ministry reported.
Thus, of them:
- The Bishkek Research Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics received a total of 288 patients, 69 of whom were hospitalized, 5 people are in intensive care;
- The National Hospital received 164 patients, 58 of whom were hospitalized, 6 people are in the intensive care unit, one victim died (unknown man of Asian nationality);
- 30 injured were admitted to City Clinical Hospital No. 1, 23 of them are outpatients. 7 people were hospitalized, 1 of them is in intensive care unit.
- Chui Oblast Hospital received 93 injured, 90 of them were sent for outpatient treatment. Three were hospitalized, 1 of them – in intensive care unit;
- 15 victims were admitted to the National Surgical Center, 2 of them were outpatients, 13 of them were hospitalized.
The protest action against the results of the parliamentary elections has begun today on the central square of Bishkek at about 12 a.m. local time. The participants of the action - the leaders of the losing parties demanded to annul the voting results of the parliamentary elections.
The protest action resulted in clashes between security officers and protesters.
The police used tear gas, flash grenades, rubber bullets and a water cannon to disperse the protesters.
