5th futsal tournament with participation of President Zhaparov to be held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Dec. 7, 2023 . / Kabar / . Bishkek will host on Dec. 8-9 the fourth draw of the Muras friendly futsal tournament, the Kyrgyz Football Union said.

Games will be held at the Gazprom Sports Complex and the Kozhomkul Kaba uulu Sports Palace. Sixteen teams will take part in the tournament.

According to the tournament regulations, the teams are divided into four groups. They will play in one round within the group stage, and then quarterfinal, semifinal and final matches will be held.

The aim of the tournament is to promote a healthy lifestyle, popularize futsal in the country and develop friendly and informal relations between representatives of different spheres of society.

The event will be organized on the initiative of the Kyrgyz Football Union and the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic. The participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov is expected.
