5th meeting of EU and CA special reps on Afghanistan held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Feb. 14, 2024. /Kabar/. The Fifth Meeting of Special Representatives and Envoys of the European Union and Central Asian States for Afghanistan took place in Bishkek on Wednesday, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said.

The meeting was also attended by the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Afghanistan and the head of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Roza Otunbayeva.

Participants discussed current developments in Afghanistan and the UN-led process ahead of the second international meeting in Doha. An online exchange of views also took place with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, diplomatic missions of Central Asian countries based in Kabul.
