Bishkek, Dec. 30, 2021 . / Kabar /. In Kyrgyzstan, another 6,507 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 coronavirus infection on Thursday, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.
Thus, 3,230 Kyrgyzstanis were vaccinated with the first doses of the vaccine, and 3,277 compatriots were given the second shot.
The total number of doses provided up to today stands at 1,226,671 while 1,011,247 people have been completely vaccinated.
Kyrgyzstan started the vaccination campaign on March 29, 2020. The country is inoculating its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Sputnik-Light, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
In total, 184,633 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan since the pandemic, 179,778 of them have recovered, 2,800 people have died.
