6 thsd 251 people in Kyrgyzstan had contacts with COVID-19 patients

Bishkek, Apr. 11, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 6 thousand 251 people had contacts with confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Health Mademin Karatayev told during a briefing at the Government House.

1 thousand 70 people had close contacts (family) and rest 5 thousand 181 people had other contacts.

"A total of 1 thousand 100 people are under observation in the republic. The rest are under home quarantine," Deputy Health Minister Karatayev said.

Today, Apr. 11 another 41 new cases of COVID-19 infection were identified in Kyrgyzstan, bringing the total to 339.

Of these, 51 are cases of medical workers infection.

44 citizens have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals. 5 have passed away.
