Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2024. /Kabar/. 6 wind and 9 solar power plants will be built in Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic Taalaibek Ibraev told speaking at a meeting of heads of local government bodies and rectors of universities with the participation of members of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He said that thanks to the construction of these facilities, electricity generation capacity will increase to 16.4 billion kWh per year.
