60 schools in Kyrgyzstan will be completed or repaired this year, says PM

Bishkek, Oct. 1, 2020. /Kabar/. In 2020, 60 schools in Kyrgyzstan will be completed or repaired, Prime Minister of the republic Kubatbek Boronov told during a briefing on Thursday.

He noted that in 2020, KGS 859 million is envisaged from the republican for construction and overhaul of 97 schools.

"KGS 395 million was also allocated for 15 schools from the Single Deposit Account for the fight against corruption. In addition, the Saudi Fund for Development has allocated funds for 27 schools," Boronov added.

The prime minister noted that in 2020, 53 schools are expected to be financed from the republican budget, 3 – from the Single Deposit Account for the fight against corruption and 4 schools from the Saudi Fund for Development.
