60 streets in Bishkek to be reconstructed for Chinese grant

Bishkek, Mar. 25, 2019. /Kabar/. Mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov met with Chinese Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Du Dewen in the capital’s municipality.

The press service of the Mayor’s Office reported that during the meeting the Mayor congratulated Du Dewen on appointment to the high diplomatic post and reported on the preparatory work being carried out to implement the second phase of the Development of Bishkek Road Network project, funded by a grant from China. He stressed that the project envisages the reconstruction of 60 streets of Bishkek with a length of 70.87 km.

In turn, the Ambassador of China thanked Aziz Surakmatov for the meeting and expressed her hope for further fruitful cooperation in the ongoing projects.
