Bishkek, Jan. 8, 2018 / Kabar /. Veteran of sports Alexander Petrov held a super-marathon in Bishkek, on Jan. 5, the Kyrgyz State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports’ press service reported.
The athlete raised 16 kilogram weight 2 thousand 18 times and thereby set a personal record. The sportsman managed it within 1 hour 33 minutes, thus in total he raised 32 tons of weight.
It is worth noting that Petrov turned 60 years old on Jan. 1, 2018. Even young people cannot raise such a heavy weight more than 2,000 times.
In 2016 in honor of Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day, Petrov promised to raise the weight 2016 times, but could not achieve the goal. He raised only 1 thousand 680 times.

1988 - The owner of bronze medal at the Central Committee Dynamo of former USSR;
1989 - Winner of silver medal at the USSR Air Force Championship;
2013 - European and World Champion; 2014 - European Champion among veterans;
