Bishkek, Oct. 18, 2022. /Kabar/. 64 new kindergartens have been put into operation in Kyrgyzstan since October 2021, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the country Nadira Dzhusupbekova told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to her data, there are 1,712 kindergartens in the country.
“At the level of preschool education, the coverage of all types and forms of preschool education has reached 48.6% of the number of children aged 3-6 years. Of these, the coverage of typical kindergartens was 23.9%, which is 1.9% more than last year. The number of kindergartens increased by 64 - from 1648 to 1712. This made it possible to increase coverage by almost 4,000 children, bringing it to almost 200,000 children in standard preschool educational organizations,” she said.
Dzhusupekova also noted that for the first time in the country, an electronic queue for kindergartens has been introduced, which includes 1,500 kindergartens.
